Mirage to Floe Transition

We've evolved our sample library platform from Mirage to Floe, bringing enhanced features while maintaining full compatibility with your existing content.

Your Existing Libraries

Floe is essentially Mirage v3.0. All your Mirage libraries and presets work immediately in Floe — no reinstallation needed. Floe automatically finds and loads your existing content, so you can start using Floe's new features with libraries you already own.

If you prefer to keep Mirage installed for older projects, both platforms can coexist without conflicts. You can still download it.

Mirage Compatibility Package

When transitioning from an existing Mirage installation to Floe, you may notice some missing sounds and images from your Mirage libraries. To restore complete compatibility, install the Mirage Compatibility Package — a Floe Package containing the missing assets. This package is included automatically with all new downloads, so it's only necessary if you have existing Mirage installations.

Simply download and install it using Floe's standard 'Install Package' button, just like any other Floe Package.

Our Product Catalog

During our transition to Floe, our catalog includes products in both formats:

Mirage-format libraries use our established library structure and work perfectly in Floe through built-in compatibility features.

Floe-format libraries take full advantage of Floe's enhanced capabilities, including improved organization through extensive tagging, optimized presets, and direct access to audio files.

Both formats install identically and function seamlessly within Floe. We're updating our Mirage catalog to Floe-format over the coming months, with all updates provided free to existing customers.

Why Floe?

Floe represents our platform's evolution into open-source development, broader compatibility, and enhanced creative tools. The transition allows us to expand beyond our initial vision while building a rich ecosystem for sample libraries and creative sound design.
