Complete the Bundle

Complete the Bundle lets you finish any bundle at a discount, paying only for the products you don't already own. It's completely automatic when you're logged in.

We built this system to solve a common frustration: wanting bundle savings but already owning some of the products. Instead of missing out on discounts entirely, our system recognises your previous purchases and rewards you with a scaled discount on what remains.

How it works

Bundle completion is automatic — no codes or special links needed. When you're logged in and own some (but not all) products from a bundle, you'll see a discounted "Complete the Bundle" price on the bundle page.

1. Log in with the email address you used to purchase your FrozenPlain products
2. Visit any bundle product page — if you own some of the products in that bundle, you'll automatically see the completion discount
3. Add the bundle to your cart and proceed to checkout — you'll only pay for the products you're missing

What are bundles?

Bundles are collections of products sold together at a discount. Instead of paying full price for each product separately, you save a percentage by purchasing them together.

How the completion discount works

When you already own some (but not all) products from a bundle, you receive a discount to complete the bundle based on what you don't yet own. The discount percentage scales between the bundle's full discount and a minimum of 3%, depending on how much of the bundle's total value you already own. The more you own, the smaller the discount percentage. We carefully designed this calculation to treat both new and existing customers fairly while preventing pricing abuse.

Bundle completion pricing applies even if your existing products were bought as part of a bundle themselves. For example, buying Warmth and Wonder Strings makes you eligible to complete the All Libraries bundle.

Requirements

• You must own at least one product from the bundle (but not all products in it)
• Your owned products must be at the same license type as the bundle you're purchasing
• You cannot purchase a redemption code when using bundle completion pricing
• Only applies to products purchased or redeemed directly from us, not through third-party shops
• Only works when completing the bundle with the same license type as your existing licenses

The calculation details

Log in to automatically see your personalised prices. For completeness, here's exactly how the completion discount is calculated:

1. We calculate what percentage of the bundle's total value you already own (based on individual product prices)
2. We multiply the bundle's normal discount by the percentage you don't own yet
3. This scaled discount is applied to the remaining products you need to purchase
4. The discount is never less than 3%, even when you own almost everything

Example: A bundle normally costs £100 for products worth £125 individually (20% discount). You already own products worth £25 (20% of the bundle's value). You need the remaining £100 worth of products. Since you're purchasing 80% of the bundle, you receive 80% of the normal 20% discount = 16% off. You pay £84 for the remaining products (£100 minus 16%).

This means the total you've paid (£25 initially + £84 for completion = £109) is significantly less than purchasing all products individually at full price (£125), though slightly more than the original bundle price (£100).
